ABB has launched two new GoFaTM collaborative robots: GoFa 10 and GoFa 12, adding new possibilities for more efficient collaborative robot automation. The loads of the two collaborative robots are 10kg and 12kg respectively. Its guided programming and ABB's Wizard easy programming software greatly simplifies the setup, without writing complex programming codes, even non-professionals can quickly realize application automation by operating simple graphical instruction blocks.
The ABB SafeMove app is pre-installed on the teach pendant on the new GoFa, which has features such as safe speed limits, standstill monitoring and direction monitoring, enabling close collaboration between robots and factory workers without the need for bulky protective fences.
The GoFa 10 and GoFa 12 cobots are powered by an OmniCoreTM controller. Thanks to ABB TrueMove and QuickMove technologies, OmniCore brings industry-leading motion control, combined with GoFa's intelligent torque and position sensors, to ensure the smooth motion required for high-precision surface preparation, tightening, assembly and testing tasks.
